New products, live demos and hard facts from KSW Microtec at ID WORLD 2010
KSW Microtec AG, one of the world’s leading suppliers of RFID components and inlays for secure cards, documents and other form factors including mobile, will present its widely-used range of secure prelaminates for eGovernment, ePayment, eTicketing and a host of other applications at ID WORLD International Congress 2010 in Milan, from November 16th to 18th.
Having recently received MasterCard Specialized Vendor Certification, combined with the MasterCard CQM certificate, for the manufacture of inlays for contactless-only ID-1 cards, specifically for the company’s Thinlam and mobile phone sticker products, the company will be showcasing these at ID WORLD, along with its classic range of inlays and prelaminates already widely adopted in many sectors.
The newly introduced mobile phone sticker for use in ePayment, eTicketing and loyalty is a highly flexible innovation for quick and secure adherence to any mobile phone. As an alternative form factor to a contactless card, it offers all the credentialing and data transfer functionality of a card anytime, anywhere - bringing more mobility to users on just one handset. Also on show, is Thinlam, KSW’s generation of thinnest RFID prelaminates commonly used in the manufacture of government ID documents including passports, driver’s licenses and identity cards. This product will once again be the main focus for visitors interested in the secure manufacture of all types of contact and contactless cards from ePayment and ID to highly secure access control.
