Tagsys appoints vice president of sales for americas
TAGSYS, the leading provider of item-level RFID infrastructure, and Supply Chain Visibility and Tracking Systems, today announced the appointment of Monte R. Lucas as Vice President of Sales for North and South America. “Monte is a world-class sales professional, bringing a number of key relationships along with a long track record of superior performance,” said Bruno Davoine, TAGSYS Worldwide Vice President Sales and Corporate Marketing. “I am delighted to have Monte on board and I am fully convinced he is the right person for this job. “
Monte Lucas has more than 23 years of hands-on experience in the automation market, including fourteen in RFID. Previously, he held high-level positions with Hi-G-Tek, Matrics RFID (acquired by Symbol), Intermec Technologies, Zebra Technologies and Paxar/Monarch (acquired by Avery). Lucas also has significant experience in both sales and business development of supply-chain solutions, including advanced product development, marketing strategy and design of barcode / data collection / automation systems for Retail, Transportation, and other key markets.
