AEG ID, a leading global supplier of RFID technology, designs and manufactures a comprehensive portfolio of tags and readers for a broad range of markets and applications. With its RFID device development and production experience since 1989, AEG ID has the capability to produce customized transponders and readers to meet the specifications of virtually any low frequency or high frequency RFID project.

AEG ID targets three main market segments – Animal identification, Industry & Logistics and Access Control, providing a range of transponders in various shapes and packaging materials (plastic and glass), fixed and hand held readers, which specifically cater to each segment. Applications range from industrial automation, production control, keg identification, waste handling and logistics, to access control, animal identification, sports timing and event management.

AEG ID currently employs 140 people at its headquarters in Ulm, Germany and its production plant in Vrchlabi, Czech Republic. AEG ID has the capacity of producing 40 million transponders a year and operates worldwide through a network of regional and local sales & service partners.

Anwendungen reichen von der industriellen Automatisierung, der Produktionskontrolle, der Fassidentifikation, der Müllentsorgung und allgemeiner Logistik hin zur Tieridentifikation, Zutrittskontrolle, Sport- beziehungsweise Eventmanagement.

AEG ID beschäftigt insgesamt 140 Mitarbeiter am Standort Ulm, Deutschland, sowie am Fertigungsstandort Vrchlabi, Tschechische Republik. AEG ID hat eine Produktionskapazität von 40 Millionen Transpondern jährlich und ist weltweit mit Hilfe eines Netzwerkes von regionalen und lokalen Vertriebspartnern tätig.
