RFID systems

Contrinex is a leading manufacturer of inductive and photoelectric sensors. The Swiss company specializes exclusively on the development, manufacture and sales of sensoring equipment for industrial applications and offers a large range of high-performance products.

Based on its all-metal inductive sensors, Contrinex has developed the ConIdent^® RFID technology, which allows for both transponders and read/write modules to be built into all-metal (including sensing face) housings. These all-metal components (low-frequency technology) are mechanically and chemically resistant, virtually insensitive to shocks, resistant to abrasion and corrosion, as well as being impervious to hightemperature’ resistant up to 125 degrees Celsius. The tags can be flush mounted in metal.

In addition, Contrinex has also developed a RFID product range which works according to high-frequency technology (13.56 MHz). This standard system allows for the integration of all tags complying with the requirements of the ISO/IEC 15693 standard. It is particularly user friendly due to the fact that its read/ write modules can be connected directly to an RS485 field bus. In this way, a network of up to 253 read/ write modules may be built up.

Dieses Standard-System ist ISO/ IEC 15693 kompatibel und erlaubt die Integration aller Datenträger, die den Anforderungen dieser Norm genügen. Es ist besonders benutzerfreundlich, da die Schreib-/Leseköpfe direkt an den RS485-Feldbus angeschlossen werden können. Auf diese Weise kann ein Netzwerk von bis zu 253 Schreib-/Leseköpfen aufgebaut werden.
