Another first-time-functional ASIC Design from Productivity Engineering

PE has developed a new mixed signal ASIC in XFAB XH018 180nm technology within a record time of 6 months from start to tapeout. The first silicon was fully functional and runs application software on the embedded 32bit processor. The digital part has been developed in very close cooperation with another local design service provider, a clear competitive advantage here in the “Silicon Saxony” region. The ASIC contains interfaces like PS2 Master, I²C , SPI, a lot of “glue logic”, embedded Flash memory as well as SRAM.
