25 Jahre WAROK - Jubiläum der Mobile Computing-Experten

Die Villinger WAROK GmbH feiert in diesem Jahr ihr 25-jähriges Jubiläum. Begonnen hat es 1985 mit der WAROK Steuerungstechnik, einem kleinen Software-Haus, das seinen Fokus zunächst auf die Mobile Datenerfassung gerichtet hatte. Ein wichtiger Meilenstein war auf der CeBIT-Messe 1988 der Kontakt mit der britischen PSION Ltd, dem Pionierunternehmen auf dem neuen Mobile Computing-Markt. WAROK wurde zum ersten Distributor der im gleichen Jahr in Bad Homburg gegründeten PSION Deutschland GmbH. Basierend auf diesen langjährigen Erfahrungen ist die heutige WAROK GmbH Value-Added-Distributor (VAD) der Mobile Computing-Anbieter Psion Teklogix und Höft & Wessel, der Bluetooth RFID- und Barcode-Lesegeräte von Baracoda sowie der innovativen Drucker von Extech und SATO.

Bluestar, Baracoda distributor in Spain and Portugal

BlueStar, the leading global innovator in solutions-based distribution for AutoID, Point-of-Sale, Mobility, RFID and Security products, has signed a definitive purchase agreement with IDSYS, a distributor of specialty electronics covering AutoID, Mobile Data Management, and Point-of-Sale verticals. Under the terms of the agreement, BlueStar will acquire all company interest in Spain and Portugal, thereby, merging operations on the Iberian Peninsula.

Atos Origin teamed its AVANTIX Mobile devices with the Baracoda Road Runner scanners

Atos Origin, the number one supplier of portable ticketing solutions to the UK Rail industry, has recently added a new dimension to their product with the addition of Baracoda devices. As more customers move to internet purchases of rail tickets, there is a growing demand for bar-coded tickets to be printed by the consumers themselves or sent directly to mobile phone handsets. It is vital that any such electronic or mobile tickets are validated to prevent fraud or re-use.

Warok: CeBIT und LogiMAT 2010 - AutoID-Lösungen weiter im Vormarsch

Für die Villinger WAROK GmbH, Value-Added-Distributor (VAD) der Mobile Computing-Anbieter Psion Teklogix und Höft & Wessel, der innovativen Drucker von Extech und SATO sowie seit Ende vergangenen Jahres auch der robusten mobilen Scanner von Baracoda, war sowohl die Teilnahme an der CeBIT als auch an der Logimat 2010 ein voller Erfolg. WAROK blickt in diesem Jahr auf 25 Jahre Erfahrung im Mobile Computing zurück und gehört auch zu den Pionieren der automatischen Identifizierung (AutoID) von Produkten. Hier lag auch der Fokus der Messepräsentation, wobei neben den Barcode-Systemen auch die Erfassungssysteme mit RFID-Technologie auf großes Interesse stießen.
